Where to Stay in Bohol: Best Areas
Panglao Island & Alona Beach
Best for beach lovers, first timers, scuba diving, bars and restaurants.
Panglao is home to Alona Beach, one of the most famous spots in Bohol and the main tourist area. With plenty of resorts, dive shops, cafes, and nightlife, it’s the most convenient and popular area to stay.

Anda
Best for privacy, nature, and a more local experience.
Anda is quiet, scenic, and perfect for couples, scuba diving, or anyone looking to escape the crowds. It takes about two to three hours to get there from Tagbilaran or Panglao, but the remote feel is worth it.
